Hub101 is in full support of any and all entrepreneurs, and we regularly participate in events to promote the ideas and skills our young business students project during their entrepreneurial ventures. As a community, we strive to provide a well-rounded learning environment where entrepreneurs of all kinds can come together to grow and thrive.
Likewise, we love supporting similar platforms that encourage young entrepreneurs, like Entrepreneur & Innovation Exchange, or EIX. EIX is a social media platform that strives to improve the success rate of new businesses. Their website, eiexchange.com, features easily accessible studies and articles that are aimed specifically toward entrepreneurs. The site was launched in 2014 by Editor in Chief James Wetherbe and Senior Editor David Deeds. The company is philanthropically funded by the Schulze Family Foundation, and is free for anyone to use.
Recently, California Lutheran University undergrads participated in Entrepreneur & Innovation Exchange’s annual e-Fest. e-Fest is an event put on by EIX that helps cultivate the skills and networks that help entrepreneurs operate and succeed, and undergraduate students from around the globe are invited to compete for a spot at the e-Fest, where another competition for the prize of $250,000 is held.
To promote entrepreneurial thinking at Hub101, Entrepreneur & Innovation Exchange awarded us with a $2,500 grant through the Richard M Schulze Foundation. With this grant Hub101 hopes to give more opportunity and direction to young undergraduate business students who are beginning their entrepreneurship ventures, and to help finance their ideas.
Thank you for supporting emerging entrepreneurs!
