PITCH RELIEF LAB
Hosted weekly | Thursdays from 12–1 PM (PT)
Hybrid - in person at Hub101 + on Zoom
Pitch Relief Lab is a weekly session where founders practice their pitch and get constructive feedback in a low-pressure environment from mentors who’ve seen hundreds of pitches and know what sticks.
Our mentors include serial entrepreneurs, angel investors, top public speakers, and other industry experts who understand what it takes to deliver a strong, clear pitch.

HOW IT WORKS

Each participant gets 20 minutes to use however they’d like. Present a full pitch, walk through a few slides, or focus on one part of the story. The remaining time is used for feedback.
You don’t need a perfect pitch or polished deck to join. Just something to share and a willingness to improve.
Come weekly to build your confidence, or drop in when you need a sounding board.
PITCH RELIEF SPOTLIGHT
Held every couple of months. Either at Hub101 or at our community partners' locations.
Public-facing pitch events where founders take the stage and share their venture with a live audience.
Pitch Relief Spotlight is about stepping forward with confidence, sharing your startup story, and connecting with the broader community.
HOW IT WORKS

Selected entrepreneurs present their full pitch in front of a live audience. This is your chance to put everything into practice: your story, your deck, your delivery.

Presenters may receive written or recorded feedback afterward, but the real-time focus is on sharing your startup clearly and confidently.

Networking follows the pitches so founders and attendees can connect with each other.

FAQ
Do I need a finished pitch deck to sign up? Nope. Your deck doesn’t need to be final or polished. You just need to have something to share. You can present a full pitch, a few slides, or just a section you’re working on.
What kind of feedback will I get? You’ll get practical, constructive feedback from experienced mentors and peers. That might include feedback on your pitch structure, clarity of message, slide design, and delivery. We also provide guidance on specific content areas like your problem and solution framing, market size, business model, go-to-market strategy, competitive landscape, financials, etc. Feedback is tailored to your goals and who you're pitching to.
Is this only for companies that are fundraising? Not at all. You could be preparing to raise money, apply to an accelerator, recruit teammates, or just get clearer about what you’re building.
How often can I pitch? As often as you'd like, as long as there's space. Pitch slots are available on a first-come, first-served basis each week, so if you want feedback, make sure to sign up early. You're always welcome to come back and keep refining your pitch.
Who are the mentors? Our mentors include experienced founders, angel investors, and other professionals who have supported hundreds of startups. Our mentors also include product leaders, marketers, designers, public speaking experts, and others who have sat on the other side of the table as funders, collaborators, or decision-makers. They know how to spot gaps, ask smart questions, and offer actionable feedback.
