It’s official: the weekend of November 11th through the 13th will be weekend of no talk, and all action. Startup Weekend Conejo Valley will be returning once again to give locals a chance to pull together a startup team within the span of 54 hours. Last year’s event was extraordinarily successful, and organizers are anticipating an even larger group of participants this year.
Startup Weekend is designed to provide an experience, build community and education for technical and non-technical entrepreneurs. Participants bring ideas to life during the event, and are able to collaborate with like-minded individuals outside of their daily networks. Everyone is welcomed, but you have to be over 18 if you're going to spend the night at Hub101.
Anyone can apply their brainpower towards business ideas, from apps to games or even events, which will have a significant positive impact on society. All teams hear talks given by industry leaders, and then receive valuable feedback on their business strategies from local entrepreneurs.
Startup Weekend Conejo Valley is 100% led by volunteer community leaders who believe anyone can be an entrepreneur. The event is lead by the California Lutheran University Entrepreneurship Club and Hub101, and is to take place at Hub101’s AMAZING location in Westlake Village.
