“Quality over quantity”, was a driving factor when determining the best places with a staff less than 27 to work for, according to the Pacific Coast Business Times. The methodology for “the list” was based off of employee responses from a survey sent to small employers in the area, as well as independent research handled by Business Times. Hub101 ranked 6th.
At Hub101, our staff are doers. The staff consists of graduate and undergraduate California Lutheran University students who are given the title of “doer”, simply because their job is to do.
Hub101 is a startup center where people from all walks of life, work alongside each other in a place they can call home. Greg Monterrosa, community manager at Hub101, contributes the success of Hub101 to, “the determined and diverse culture each member brings when they walk through the door. There are students working alongside entrepreneurs closing million dollar deals, all in the same room”.
